Grace Zhang

Saying Grace

  • Australia

A rollicking, rambling meander through the quirky, light-filled byways of the topsy-turvy world of a cute girl with a bow in her hair, who loves life, superfluous adjectives and run-on sentences.

Before sitting down for a nice curry dinner Grace Zhang gives thanks for everything she's grateful for. As in... EVERYTHING she's grateful for...

After a sold-out debut season at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, cult fave comedian and avid watcher of local ducks Grace Zhang is BACK with new show Saying Grace. In 2024 she delighted crowds, garnered rave(-ish) reviews and inspired at least two (2) fellow 20-somethings to also quit their corporate jobs and spend their days chilling at the happy doobie duck pond. The latter is Grace's proudest achievement to date and she hopes to double those figures this year.

'Eccentric, feisty, unfiltered… a new queen on the comedy scene' ★★★★1/2 Lilithia Reviews

'Heartwarming, funny, earnest, sardonic' The Age

Disclaimer: contrary to what the name implies this show is not about God and/or Grace's latent narcissism (though elements of both may be present).

Content warning for mentions of pigeons, bureaucratic misadventure, and the kind of thoughts one may have while stoned at a Thai restaurant.

Suitable for audiences 15+

Drug references

Language – occasional coarse language

Licensed venue: under 18s will only be permitted with a parent or guardian
